Medical Week Daily is a free daily digest of 6 to 10 stories for clinicians, pharma and drug-safety professionals: regulatory approvals, safety communications and recalls, pivotal trial readouts, major journal papers and the industry moves that shape them. Each story gets a short summary and a "why it matters" note.

Medical Week Daily is curated and managed by doctors. It was founded by Dr. Darshan Hegde, a practising physician working in pharmacovigilance and drug safety.

Editorial approach

• We scan regulators (FDA, EMA, WHO), journals (NEJM, The Lancet, JAMA, BMJ) and trusted health and pharma news outlets every day.
• Summaries are in our own words and stick to what the source states. We do not invent numbers, quotes or conclusions.
• Paywalled stories are marked, and company-reported results are described as company-reported.
• The digest is prepared with AI tools under human ownership of the process. If we get something wrong, we fix it.

Editorial standards

• Primary sources first: regulator notices, peer-reviewed papers and company filings over secondary coverage.
• Every item links to its source; we summarise and never republish full articles.
• Commercial categories (supplements, skincare, consumer health) get the same standards: evidence is described as reported, with no health claims of our own.
• Sponsored content and ads are always labelled and kept separate from editorial; see our sponsor policy. Affiliate links are disclosed (disclosure).

Corrections policy

If we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and add a dated note to the item explaining what changed. Material errors are corrected within one business day of verification. Report an error via our contact page.
